Navratri celebration 2025

The Fertilizernagar School marked the beginning of Navratri with lively festivities, with all students arriving in traditional dress. This significant Hindu festival is celebrated over nine nights to honor the goddess Durga and her nine forms, symbolizing the victory of good over evil. Navratri is a spiritual observance where people unite in faith, often by keeping fasts and offering prayers.

Our school tradition of celebrating Navratri was upheld with full enthusiasm this year. The festive spirit unified our campus, Students and teachers from all sections KG, Primary, and Secondary & Higher Secondary, in both English and Gujarati mediums participated enthusiastically in the Navratri Celebration.

The object decoration competition was a tremendous success, truly highlighting the students' outstanding creativity! Participants expertly used a rich variety of traditional and natural materials for their designs. Their resourcefulness was evident in the use of seemingly discarded items—like old curtains, fallen wood and sticks, tree bark, used flowers, fresh green coconuts, and dried coconut shells—which were transformed into either unique decorative artifacts or functional items for the home.
